Infrarroja a nivel internacional.
Infrared Thermography of the infusion manufacturing process of composite
·
Pérdida de vacío en bolsa.
·
Flujo de resina incorrecto
·
Presencia de materiales extraños
From 4th
to 8th of last July it was held in Gdansk (Poland) 13th
International Congress of Thermography "QIRT Conference".
Internationally most renowned Scientists and technologists in the field of
infrared thermography gathered in this biannual congress. The topic dealt in
this conference is very wide due to the wide field of application currently
Infrared vision technology provides, covering medical, non-destructive
inspection of materials, quality control of artworks, fluid dynamics and civil
engineering, among others.
CTA actively
participated in the QIRT Conference 2016 presenting the results of one of its
latest research. The title of the presented paper was "Quality Control by
Infrared Thermography of the infusion manufacturing process of composite
automotive specimens" and was elaborated as a result of the activities
carried out in collaboration with the University of Mondragon within the AIRHEM
III project. These results define a method for monitoring in real time and contactless
by infrared thermography the manufacturing process of composite parts
manufactured by infusion technique. Thanks to the research activity developed
the ability of infrared technology to early detect the occurrence of defects
effectively in infusion manufacturing, allowing take active control of the
manufacturing process optimizing time and manufacturing costs, has been
demonstrated. Controlled defects have been:
·
Loss of vacuum in bag.
·
Incorrect resin flow.
·
Presence of foreign
material.
