CTA leads the project AIRHEM-III; an Strategic Research project funded by the ETORTEK 2014 call  of the Department of Industry, Trade and Tourism of the Basque Government.
This Strategic Research Project AIRHEM-III "Health Monitoring of Components and Aerostructures throughout its complete life cycle", (2014 – 2015)  has as main objective to promote the development and manufacture of aeronautical structures with high added value for the narrow-body and business aircraft industry, through the

"Research, Knowledge Generation and Innovation in the field of intelligent monitoring technologies throughout the complete lifecycle of the component, from the advanced manufacturing processes to the intelligent maintenance of these structures (manufacture, transport, assembly, testing and certification on land and/or in flight, aircraft operation) "

and

transfer the results to industry, which will enable Basque companies to generate differentiated products based on industry needs as durability, regulations, hours of service, replacement or cost.
AIRHEM-III Project is an Strategic Project that is composed by the following agents members of the Basque Science, technology and Innovation Net (RVCTI)
